Union Due and retro

I did some rough calculatins of Union Dues in regards to our Arbitrated? award. According to NYSCOPBA constitution, union dues are increased at the same % rate as the award.
2003 2.25% .40 Dues $17.99 retro dues $10.40
2004 2.75% .55 $18.53 $14.30
2005 3.00% .56 $19.09 $14.44
2006 3.00$ .57 $19.66 $14.88
Total increase of dues $2.07, Dues owed $54.02
Do you think NYSCOPBA is entitled to, or has represented you enough to take retro dues out of your check?
I can understand raising dues AFTER WE GET SOME MONEY, but not the retro dues. They didn't do anything more for us to be entitled to this increase.

All answers to my question will be forwarded to NYSCOPA and President Flimflanagan. As most people post here anonymously, you will have nothing to hide. Make your feelings known now.

Numerous incident occuring at Wende-Watch each others backs and stay SAFE

OFFICERS

You think Officers are not pissed off.
ATTICA --running by the book, last week they ran breakfast into lunch, and lunch into dinner, not by running slow, but by running things according to DOCS's own policy and procedure.
COXSACKIE--over 100 bang ins on 1 day
CLINTON --60 bangs ins on 1 day.
GOWANDA-- early outs (4 hr medical) every Friday night, Mass bang ins planned this weekend.
These are the ones I know of. Probably many more.
Officers are pissed off and tired of the State USING us.
State Troopers on the Bucky hunt are making more overtime in 2 weeks than any Officer can make in a month
1 Trooper I know made 91 hrs overtime in one pay. This is the real world.
The state thinks we are patsies, and I think Flimflanigan is just making the problem worse.
We need a union with balls--check out our executive board minutes and you can see for yourself that the executive board thinks we are too soft with the State.
